How To Turn Off Ground Dmg Alerts On Dbm

Jul 30, 2018  This video was made to help you install any addon you like, in World of Warcraft: Battle For Azeroth. There are thousands of Addons out there for you to choose, and this is the most streamlined. Thank you for this hint! I'm sure someone will claim that this is dangerous and a security risk so you shouldn't do it. However, if you turn off 'automatically open safe files after downloading' then most of the risk from turning this off I would think is mitigated because the case of an executable being downloaded and run without your explicit command is not really there. A lightweight Addon to show you all enemies, allies and important player-specific information in a battleground. Since BattleGroundTargets doesn't get updated anymore and i didn't like any of the alternative addons I started to create my own add-on which now even has some unique features I haven't seen on any other battleground addon (Let me know if you need even more:) ). How do I turn off the arrow on the screen that DBM activates? I can't find the option to turn it off in the settings. Save hide report. This thread is archived. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. Incidents and alerts are enabled by default. You can disable incidents from generating on individual assets or a group of assets. You can disable monitoring policies and prevents incidents and alerts from generating on all assets in your data center.

The thing is, by my calculations (as per DMG p. 274-281), most of these dragons (virtually all that are young or older) end up with a higher CR than is listed in the Monster Manual. For example, a Young Red Dragon, listed at CR 10. By my calculations, its effective AC and HP come out to 22 and 356, respectively, making its defensive CR 21. Jun 28, 2019  OR DIE!” Seems a bit cliche, I would love for the dragon to be somewhat more sinister and “long term baddie” than this. Also, a battle with the young red dragon would really do a number to the low(ish) level party. TL;DR: players stole a large portion of a young red dragon’s gold. Young red dragon doesn't match the dmg guidelines download. Jun 04, 2017  An ancient red dragon, for example, would do a (Tail) Melee Weapon Attack: +17 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (2d8 + 10) bludgeoning damage on the first round, and would then do 2d8+10 bludgeoning automatically as a free action to whatever poor unfortunate is caught underneath it. Feb 23, 2017  So, that's when you calculate your party's HARD threshold using the DMG. So assuming the Young Red Dragon's actual CR (no lair actions) is about 11, and you have a party of four PCs. At 8th or 9th level they would be having what the DMG describes. The standard Young Red Dragon has an XP of 5,900, while the Young Red Shadow Dragon is indicated as having an XP of 10,000. The XP has increased by a factor of 1.694915, that's 10,000/5,900. I'd call it 1.7. Apply that to the 450 XP of the Black Dragon Wyrmling and you get 450 x 1.7 = 765. Looking at the XP/CR chart at the front of the MM shows.

What I'd like really like to see Safari do is have an option like Firefox when it asks what you want to do with a file you want to download. But I can't stand nag-software and I notice that those funny commercials aren't really true any more about how much better OS X is than Windows because of inundation of warnings that train people to just click OK without thinking.

It's important that people understand that the quarantine system and disabling the 'open safe files' mechanism protect you from different things.
Turning off 'automatically open safe files after downloading' does NOT eliminate the risk of turning off the quarantine system. Nothing that is caught by quarantine is considered safe, so Safari should *never* attempt to open quarantined files via that mechanism. The quarantine option is completely separate and meant to protect you from other attack vectors.
Oh, I might as well say it outright: it's true, this hint is a security risk. =)

Mac product key finder.app.dmg. Jul 22, 2013  Packaging a Mac OS X Application Using a DMG. On the Mac, anything other than 72 DPI will result in a distorted background image when opening the DMG on Mac OS X 10.7+. Background image with DPI of 90 on Mac OS X 10.8. To fix this, we use the built-in scriptable image processing system command line tool.

I want to rate this hint 20 stars. That pandering behaviour was seriously irritating to me since it started, especially when it views text files as applications because it doesn't recognize their extension.

that would be useful for me to affect only one account.. I know when I have to be careful, but my son and my wife do not really.

Completely disable quarantine of downloaded files

Yes, but does this really help them be careful? I think the problem with these dialogs is that most computer illiterate people will blindly hit ok whenever they pop up, and most computer literate people will 'know when they have to be careful' and just find them anoying.

Lovely hint! There seems to be some sort of problem with the command for Leopard though. I'm getting the following error:

Try this: find ~/Downloads -type df -exec xattr -d com.apple.quarantine '{}' ;
Completely disable quarantine of downloaded files

Wow. I always assumed there would never be a defaults write fix for this because it would be a gapping hole in the security feature.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for this!!! WOwwww. Wowwwww. This is the best hint I have read in years!! Anything that takes the Bullsh*t and redundancy away from the personal computing experience is greatly appreciated. Now my mac will start feeling like a mac again. PC users have no idea what I mean, but all you dedicated macies out there know whats up.

I think the most annoying thing about that dialog is that when you say 'yes I DO want to open this application' the app opens in the background instead of the foreground where you want it to be.

50 stars! Now if only someone would post a defaults command to disable the @!!#%!! spell-checker in iCal and Stickies once and for all..

This is one of Leopard's features that makes me want to yell at Steve Jobs.
I downloaded it for some reason so of course I want to run it.
Thanks for the great hint.

I was really excited to read this - but does it actually work for any of you?
As a test (after rebooting) I tried to download a couple of dmg files from Apples software update (apple.com/swupdates), but I've had no luck getting any file without the 'com.apple.quarantine' nuisance :-(

It popped up on me after I downloaded a freeware app from Macupdate. Damn!

Worked for me as described on two machines (MacOS 10.5 and MacOS 10.6 as well). Did you copy/paste the command from here to the terminal? Otherwise the might have been a mistyping..

Another 50 stars from me. I have been awaiting this hint since about a week after Leopard was released. It's a hint I would happily have PAID for.
It pains me though, to see people complaining about the security hole this opens. Are not terminal commands all about freedom from the restraints put in place to protect novice users?

If someone wanted to turn quarantine back on, how would they do it? (Terminal commands)

Thank you! Worked perfectly. That pesky message was driving me mad!!

Stumbled upon this after a new installation:
You should use the defaults-command with superuser rights like that:
sudo defaults write com.apple.LaunchServices LSQuarantine -bool NO
Using it without superuser rights was okay for most of the use. But when you download an application and move it to your login items the quarantine warning will pop up after the next reboot/login - even when you opened up the application before! That got me crazy.

Maintenance mode is designed to disable assets from generating incidents temporarily. This mode is useful when you plan to power off a hardware asset, reconfigure a system manually, or perform maintenance on a system and you do not want these incidents to be reported.

Note:

Monitoring still occurs and alerts are still generated on the asset while in maintenance mode. View alerts by selecting the Alerts subtab of the Incidents tab.

When you place an asset in maintenance mode, the severity badge of unassigned and assigned incidents affecting the asset and its children is not propagated in the asset hierarchy in the Navigation pane.

When you place a Proxy Controller in maintenance mode, you disable incidents from generating on the Proxy Controller and you disable all jobs that go through the Proxy Controller, including discovering, managing, and migrating assets.

When you place an Oracle VM Server that is a member of a server pool in maintenance mode, all of the virtual machines running on the Oracle VM Server are automatically migrated to other Oracle VM Servers in the server pool, if they are available. When the Oracle VM Server is the master Oracle VM Server in the server pool, this role is moved to another Oracle VM Server in the server pool, if available. While in maintenance mode, you cannot create or place guests and guests cannot be recovered to the server from another control domain. When the Oracle VM Server is not a member of a server pool, or other servers are not available in the server pool, the virtual machines are stopped. To manually bring down the control domain and all of its guest domains, use the action Disable Automatic Recovery on the virtual machines to disable the auto-recovery, then put the control domain in maintenance mode.
