Zeal Doesn't Increase Dmg D200

Oct 14, 2014  Zeal is the standard attack skill of most Paladins. It is quite powerful in its own right, as if hits much faster than regular attacks, something which doesn't appear in the skill statistics. Zeal
zealot damage question
I just made a zealer and he is lvl 70. My gear is as follows:
Helm: Shako
Armor: Guardian Angel (will be upped soon)
Belt: String of Ears
Gloves: Lava Gout (switching to Dracs when I get to the appropriate lv)
Weapon: EBOTDZ (perfect 415% ED)
Boots: Tear Haunch (switching to Gores or WTs soon.)
rings: 248/20 Raven Frost, 4% BK
Ammy: Highlords
Shield: HOZ (going to be upped)
I am doing about 2.5-6.5k zeal damage with lvl 27 fanat and lvl 28 zeal. All synergies are maxed. To me, this amount of damage seems sort of low. I have a friend who has a zealer and his damage is quite high. I assume the damage will be boosted exponentially by getting an Anni, P Torch, and PCombs. I was thinking of switching out my Guardian Angel for a Fort Hell Forge Plate because it has the ED mod on it. Would this be a good idea? Also can anyone give me some info on what there zealer damage is and what gear they are using. All help and info is greatly appreciated.
