Fire Dmg For Pistol Warframe

  1. Borderlands Elements. Elemental damage comes in five different varieties: Incendiary: Incendiary is a relatively weak element initially, but has the benefit of being able to set enemies on fire, for substantial damage over time. The initial burst can hit other enemies near the primary target, setting them on fire.
  2. Feb 29, 2016  r/Warframe: Reddit community and official fansite for the free-to-play third-person co-op action shooter,.Warframe. And World on Fire for constant fire dmg and knockdown. I use ember religiously so I think shes the best option, but many other frames are just as good or maybe better.
  3. May 07, 2013 IMO Lex with max Barrel Diffusion/crit chance/crit dmg/Hornet Strike and some ele is way better due to the fact that it just decimates things. Sure you have to have a pretty high Gunslinger so it doesn't fire slow as heck, and a good Quick Draw for reload speed, but it can do close range as well as snipe things.
  4. Hellfire and Wildfire apply fire elemental mod damage to the weapon. They do not act like base damage mods, but rather stack with the innate Heat damage of the weapon. Adding Corrosive, Magnetic, or Gas in addition to Heat damage makes the Ignis very effective versus Grineer / Corpus / Infested, though less effective against Corpus Proto Shields.

Ranger + Ranger: Best in Slot Perks for DPS vs Physical

The following takes a look at most the pistols you'd see in the default section of the collection book. The purpose was to figure out which pistols are best for taking down 'tanky' husks. It's not every single pistol (I've left out most of the 'special ones'). We'll make the following assumptions

  • 100% accuracy (no missed shots)
  • 100% conditional status up-time
  • Headshot rates at 0%, 100%
  • No benefit from debilitating shots
  • Crystal versions of weapons used
Fire dmg for pistol warframe 1

Best Melee, Primary, Secondary Weapon in Warframe – When you start the game, you are recommended a lot of weapons. This is very confusing for the people who have just gotten into the game. Talking about weapons, I would say you shouldn’t focus too much in the higher tier ones, because they are tied to.

It's a purely dps comparison, not going to take into consideration damage per hit or ammo types and is only accurate to Ranger+Ranger. Maybe other Support Hero combinations are better, maybe they're not (I haven't checked those for the purpose of this analysis). If there's a difference between 0% headshots and 100% headshots for perks, then we know that at some point the number of headshots change the best perk combinations (but I haven't been bothered to figure out what the threshold is for each weapon)

Note: The Monsoon has a 'wind-up' time of about 1 second. I've factored (1.0 seconds) in as extra time required for DPS calculations on this weapon.

Discussion

Obviously I'm not considering things like ammo cost, weapon durability, weapon spread and other variables like that in this comparison and I'm assuming 100% accuracy, but for me the biggest surprise going into this was just how poorly the 'Heavy Ammo' Pistols perform from a DPS perspective.

  • With 0% headshots, the best (Viper) puts out ~ 58% more DPS than the worst (Judge)
  • With 100% headshots, the best (Viper) puts out ~ 32% more DPS than the worst (Judge)

Whilst the Haywire Storm and Jackal have about the same 'range' on their weapons the Viper has shorter range.

  • Viper: Max Damage: 0 to 1.0 tiles
  • Haywire and Jackal: Max Damage: 0 to 1.5 tiles

I need to point out that 'distance to target' is something that I often do not factor in to these examples because I'm assuming if a player is smart enough to make use of the information they're going to be able to figure that out on their own. The Siegebreaker (Assault Rifle) only deals max damage to 2 tile range and yet most Soldiers you probably see using it will be 'sniping the spawn' which is ~ 10 tiles away. If you're not within 'max damage' range for your respective weapon (and this is a lot closer than many people are willing to admit) you're always going to be dealing less damage than you could be. I mean, if you're using a Viper from 0 to 1.0 tiles for maximum damage you're effectively in melee-range anyway. 1 tile distance is 512 range. You can look up your weapons in stormshield.one to figure out their 'engagement distances'.

I need to make a special mention of the 'Bolt Bolt' pistol. It doesn't technically top 'dps' but it does penetrate multiple targets (and is one of the few weapons capable of penetration/cleave). You can see from the numbers in the table that if you just hit 2 targets in the body you'd easily get top dps (2 body shots has more dps than even a Viper at 100% headshot rate)

Conclusions

I'm assuming a 'tank killing' scenario for the weapon perks, that means things like Husky Husks, Smashers, Mini-Bosses. Whether you're capable of geting the minimum headshot % on these targets or not is something for you to decide. How I play the game (which, will generally be in CQC regardless of the hero I'm on) is likely to be very different to how you play the game. You might never be close enough for maximum damage, you might not have an angle to get headshots. Only you know your play-style. 100% bodyshot accuracy on something like a Smasher is perfectly achievable and isn't very hard at all, but will even be close enough to get maximum damage? Stuff like this is up to you to decide.

Maybe some of the event pistols are better, maybe they're not, but at the very least you have a general idea about which pistols are good for dps, and which pistols are less good.
